Silica Gel Desiccant

Silica Gel Desiccant is a granular, vitreous, porous form of silica made synthetically from sodium silicate. Despite its name, silica gel is a solid. It is a naturally occurring mineral that is purified and processed into either granular or beaded form. As a desiccant, it has an average pore size of 2.4 nanometers and has strong affinity for water molecules. These gels are non-corrosive, non-toxic nature and are approved by the US Government for use in food packaging.

Our silica gels meets varies specification and used in phamaceuticals, medical equipments, food, electronics industries. Silica gel comes in non-indicating (clear) form and indicating types which changes color when saturated.
